We usually have DVDs or something from the prize department. Nothing real fancy. AUSA's a small con and I feel bad asking them for money for trophies and stuff, especially when they're so generous to my staff and let me do pretty much whatever I want with the room. All of the equipment in the AMV room was self-purchased, so I'm not really that motivated to spend even more on FABULOUS PRIZES, especially when the winners tend to live in other countries where it costs $24 just to ship 1 disc :-/Animated wrote:Yeah, i'm in too. Going to upload mine tomorrow.
Edit : Are there any... prizes for the winners?

Mine is sented. Scented, even, if WTF has a smell.
I couldn't decide between upbeat or comedy so I leave it up to the wisdom of the Vic or whoever makes that decision.

Pasting all those Linkin Park songs together to make a 42 minute Naruto AMV was...
Just kidding
Two short ones. One Drama (sort of) and one Upbeat.
Looking forward to another great AUSA!

I have not received your entries. Checked the PO box today and still nothing. I think Adv1sor sent his stuff in after you did and I got his entries. Methinks the USPS ate it your envelope. Did you put "Afghanistan" on your return address as well, 'cuz that could do it!deuceloosely wrote:Hmmm...still awaiting my confirmation. Maybe Vic is just going through them today..?

I sent it via FTP. The entry form had Afghanistan as the country for at least one of the entries.VicBond007 wrote:I have not received your entries. Checked the PO box today and still nothing. I'm pretty sure your entries are lying around here because I put everything I receive in one box...
You did have FTP this year, right? I swear I remember sending it to you that way...

I just checked my FTP log. Your last login was 6/5/2009, total amount transferred was 29.683MB, which was your Otakon video. Not sure where you sent them, but it certainly wasn't to us.deuceloosely wrote: I sent it via FTP. The entry form had Afghanistan as the country for at least one of the entries.
