Yeah, would be cool if everyone can make it in the contest. More importantly, is anyone actually attending this year? I sure will be. The hotel's gonna be pretty tiny in comparison to the Omni, but as long as we have the Katsu spirit, it's all good. It's probably my favorite con

I'm gonna be there too - I've only entered AMVs into contests I'm going to be present at, thus far. I'm gonna be at the contest whether or not my video gets in, but.. I'd still like to see it in there.

That much being said, like Plankster, I'm also curious as to when we'll find out who got in. I'm guessing it'll be in another two weeks, but still, I hope it doesn't hurt to check.

Yeah I'm the same way at this point myself (for all like...3 contests I've ever submitted to

). If they do not increase the main events hall for the contest (for AUSA it was considerably smaller than Omni's, but they could open up another room), I will be in the line pretty early. AMVs are a flagship event for me every con I attend, and I typically prefer the first Friday night wave.

As for the results, time really flies so I'm sure it won't be too bad of a wait since the con itself is right around the corner now.

Well, the YTMND one won and it's been in enough con's already, so I retired it after Nekocon. I don't think the new one's quite as funny as the YTMND one, but I guess we'll see how it does. It's been posted on the org for a while now if you want to check it out. It's "The Return of the Japanese Idiot".

Yeah, the suspense is killing me too. I only submitted one into drama, and it's one I finished about two days before the deadline... I really hope it gets in.

This is the last convention before I retire this drama video. I only submit to the conventions I attend because I like hearing the audience reaction (I'm vain like that

) and TekkoshoCon (last April) was the first contest this entry made to the ballot. It would kind of suck if it had to go out of circulation with a final exclusion from a contest, but that's show biz.

Anyway, after a year, it's probably time to make a new video (which I'll finish once I replace the hard drive on this computer)...
