Anime Mid-Atlantic 2006 AMV Contest (May 27th Deadline)

A reminder AMA has some kick booty prizes for you guys this year and we are SUPER excited to give them to you! You do not need to attend to recieve your prizes but we hope you will! We got some awsome submissions last year but I know we can do EVEN BETTER this year!

Just an update:

HurQlez and Bashar of the Ages, we have successfully recieved your submissions to the FTP .

Hope the rest of you are working hard on your submissions!!!

The more we get, the better the contest will be, so get 'em done, and get 'em in!!!

I will keep this thread updated with more information as it becomes available, so keep an eye on it.

My newest amv "Sending Freedom" is almost finished. So I'll have it done in the next week or so. At least I'm hoping.

I noticed you don't have your contest listed in the Org database (or at least didn't as of yesterday) so that it can be added to a video's profile.

4) Entries must not exceed 5:00 minutes running time in length.

This one is gonna stop the video I have on timeline now. I have it cut to 6 minutes from the original 9, and that's as far as I can cut the song without losing the story. Oh wait...

6) The following excessive materials are not allowed: nudity, violence, racial or verbal obscenities.

Yep, probably not gonna submit one this year, unless I do a side video. I do love your contest though, and I know where the "arrange for your own shipping" comes from.

Thanks for the compliment BMA we would love to have you submissions unfortunately as you know we are an all ages show and weve got to fit the submissions into 2 hours

Hopefully you will find the time to make something we will be able to show! Make sure you come this year too! We'd love to meet yah!

A list of finalists will be posted here after the deadline.

There is still 20 more days to get your submissions in!! So I hope you are all working hard.

We have plenty of room left in all categories (particularly in drama) and definately want to see as many people get their submissions in as possible!!
