I will force EVERYONE to sing.

That is one of the audience participation activities I have planned... [evil grin]
AMV Hero?

AMV Band?

If anyone has amvs with lyrics on the bottom of the screen, please recommend them! :awesome:
Its not too hard for ANY amv to have lyrics at the bottom if you make your own subs :nose:

I won't be there this year, but good luck, Future Hokage!

Yup, it's official. I'm this year's competitor. 8-)

Who will be brave enough to challenge me on the battlefield?! :shark:

People are too lazy to sub their own videos.

There's a couple I might sub myself, or even hunt karaoke tracks for. :)

[scratches head] Not entirely sure what you're asking, so I'll interpret that as "Are we going to show nothing but vids made by me, Brad, Nic, or the judges?"

Uh... no? That's called an ego fest, and that'd get dry rather quick. I'm digging deep for AMVs that would make for interesting activities regardless of who made them or where they were shown, and will also gladly take recommendations.

Alternatively, I can interpret that as "Is it just going to be AMV games?"

There might be a bit of Q&A, though not remotely as heavily as last year. We are also open to and interested in audience participation activities that are AMV related yet don't have to involve the playback of a video. For instance, we will have a third workstation as a back-up in case one of the primary two have an issue. Since we expect all to run well though, we would like to put it to use in some way...

(This actually was my main question >.>)
Thank god, because before Kit brought his external filled with AMVs, that's what happened last year :uhoh:
"We have videos from the AMV contest from editors that are here...and just in case you missed "AMV 101" we also have the host's videos!"

If you need some good recommendations, I can pm you a great list. We just had a great AMV Iron Chef event at NDK last year (that we're looking to make into a Main Event someday whoo!) and we really saw what got the audiences fired up and what kinda didn't lol

Recommendation: To get rid of all the "stupid" questions, IE: What's the best editing program? Why does Vegas do this if I throw a glass of water on my monitor and dance around? ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ABOUT STUPID LITTLE THINGS THAT ONLY I WILL GIVE A SHIT ABOUT WHILE THE REST OF THE AUDIENCE WILL BE BORED OUT OF THEIR MINDS.
---- Make a pamphlet with basic information about programs, dos and don'ts, etc.... Worked great at NDK. And if the question is going to take longer than 30 seconds to answer, than a good "get back to us after the show and we'll help you out with that"

Seriously though, there were waay too many questions answered that only helped the person asking them and that KILLED the audience's buzz.
