We're also running a 1-day mini-con on labor day weekend up in Manchester NH. No AMV contest, but i'm going to put together a few hours worth of vids to screen.

Thanks - I think I have my 3 hour block filled up pretty well for the maybe 10 people that I assume will show up through the duration of the entire thing.

Your video must be encoded in one of the following formats: Uncompressed (only if you have to), Lagarith, HuffYUV, MPEG2, (H.264) MP4. No Quicktime, no RealPlayer, no WMV, no exceptions.

It's all getting forced into MPEG2 to go onto a DVD (probably above the DVD spec though). It's best to get it to me in a form that's less likely to get garbled as a result.
