Memes' round was the best one, as far as theme went. Also, I probably missed the light in nya's vid, as we could say Shinkai AMVs are a meme in and out of themselves... :asd:

Anyway, sorry for how it ended, nya. I know I had my reasons to vote like I did, I probably didn't explain them well to you over IRC, but oh well.
Now, I'll echo JH, let's move along... although, as I already said, I'm not sure I'll be able to judge this one time. :uhoh:
You are forgiven for epic Reimu pic.

Okay, I warned you.

I am currently pretty disappointed, because I lost so you can take all this text and disregard it

But I don't really think I should've lost. I admit that it wasn't my best thing, but it really wasn't that bad to lose by 5 points. If I expected a loss, it was by a very narrow margin.

In regards to seeing judges' score, I am taken aback fairly by two facts - one is my score in sync. Me, losing to Angelyco AND MCHY, even narrowly is something I just cannot explain. I have shown the video to few other competitors and they were all like "Mmm, meme part lacks, but sync is good". One even told me thy lyrics sync is A++ (thanks again :> ) and I think that at least in terms of editing itself my video was more solid than these two - this is, of course, subjective, so no help there. Someone just doesn't like slow vids, yay.

The second one is the scoring of the first judge/Code - seriously, rating two very similar videos, mine and Angelyco's - sorry to use you as an example, I still enjoyed your vid - {complete editing of song only, and as NS and mirko told me "You could've slapped any slow song to this and it would work" which goes for Angelyco's too, just with different music (about sex or love which is like half of popular music)} with TWENTY FOUR points of difference is something that can't be explained even by you not knowing the meme I used (and pretty much threw me out of the competition disregarding other judges). The only actual way I can explain it with is "This is Shinkai, it's overused - no, this is Railgun with Kuroko and yuri - it has to be good" which seems inappropriate to me for a judge. That wasn't what this round was about.

In the end, I'll just wish Ileia best luck (hopefully she won't meet what I just did) and will do my best to kick other's asses in the next year.

Yeah, I told you you shouldn't read this.

Hopefully I can sleep now...
Oh and this won't stop me from spamming this thread, of course, I am butthurt but knowing myself I'll get over it quickly ;x

All reality shows have the reunion special after the whole contest is over.

Not so much a reunion [although I bet it will be], so much as an experiment for the next project editor. :D

More silly statistics! Number of posts in the thread, as of Code's post above. (10 posts or more only, there's 14 more people with 5 or fewer posts each)

Sections start with Code's announcement post of a round's theme, and end with the last post before the next announcement post.

EDIT: Sorry I missed your post right before mine, Ileia, I'll get it when I update the numbers. :)
