Congrats to all the finalists! Glad to see some of my videos made the cut as well.

Alright everyone. With the con less then a week away I figured now was a good time to remind all of ya'll about the streaming options available from Youmacon and give ya'll a heads up on our schedule. First, streaming. We will again run 2 streams this year. 1 stream will be the main stream, basically what the audience will see at con. The other stream will be a crowd reaction stream, basically a view of the room from our stage where you can see how the crowd reacts to your videos and hopefully hear some of it as well. Links to both of these streams are below. Keep in mind, these streams will only run during our all ages events.

We've got a good lineup of stuff read for this year. We will do our best to also allow each segment to be viewed post con up on our livestream channel as well. Thursday - Oct 30th
5pm to Midnight - Free Play AMVs (may start late depending on how soon we get the room setup)

Friday - Oct 31st
Midnight to 11am - AMV Free Play
2pm to 3pm - VAT Opening Ceremonies
3pm to 4:30pm - AMV Free Play
4:30pm to 5pm - Staff Music Video Showcase
5pm to 8pm - VAT Competition Showing (3HR block)
8pm to 10pm - AMV X01: Because Everything is Cooler with X (Presented by Way of the Pride)
10pm to Midnight - Nat-chan's Top 10 AMVs

Saturday - Nov 1st
12:30am to 4am - You've found the weird part of the VAT! (May potentially not be livestreamed)
8am to 12pm - VAT Competition Showing (4HR block)
1pm to 4pm - The AMV Wars (Youmacon's Iron Chef Competition)
4pm to 4:30pm - TTD's Inuyasha Abridged Series Ep1 Showing and Q&A
4:30pm to 5:30pm - Imitation Hell (AMV Hell Rip-offs)
5:30pm to 7pm - AMV Hell 7
7pm to 8:30pm - VAT Competition Award Ceremony
9pm to 11pm - My Little Pony: Friendship is Music Videos!
11pm to 12pm - Happy Fun Time

Sunday - Nov 2nd
12am to 1:30am (EDT) - Happy Fun Time
1pm (EST) to 4am - Nat-chan & Mat-chan's Night Out (18+, will not be streamed)
8am to 12pm - AMV Free Play
12pm to 4pm - VAT Competition Showing (4HR Block)
4pm to 5pm - VAT Closing Ceremonies

Can you play something of mine during the free play? I don't care what it is or if it's at 4:00 in the morning, I just want to know that something I made graced a real screen for like the 2nd time ever.

Seasons, or anyone, just hop into the livestream chat during any freeplay block and request a specific video by you. Listing video title and editor helps them locate (I try to make sure all videos in our archive have at least that much info) and if you've announced your videos in the past 10ish years then I most likely have a copy! Or, if you'd like to make sure I have a copy of something, PM me the vidid's and I'll download them when I have a chance.

BTW, I'm about to break my systems down now. I will not be completely radio silent, but it may take some time to get back to anyone from this point forward until I can get my system back up and running at con. We begin setting up the VAT tomorrow!

I feel it's my duty to object to the gist of this title, because (lest we forget) AMV Hell was not even the first massively popular video of that format, never mind the first period.

Even if it has had the best marketing and post-launch of the bunch.

The subtitle there isn't in the program guide. Also, I make these titles and descriptions for the general masses, and all they care about is AMV Hell. Not us being truthful. Hell is the most popular after all....
