Im thinking on gettin' photoshop but im concerned about one thing. If i want to mask out a character in photoshop and then insert that maksed out character back in sonyvegas how would i do that.....like does the picture in photoshop need to be in a certain mode so that it comes out like a mask in vegas!?

Saving the character on an alpha background and then saving the image as a png will do just fine. I also think that Vegas is able to take psd files directly, but I'm not sure about that.

The easiest way would be to just mask in vegas

. Then you can go to the mask toolbar and select "negative"...

meh vegas masks are horrible...and iv'e heard photoshop gets the job done.
