Ok so I have a footage that I cropped out using the crop tool in premiere pro cs3, and I wanted to apply a basic 3d effect to that footage so that it would be flipping basically. However, when I do this, I noticed the crop doesn't follow the settings I used with basic 3d tool. It stays in the position it was originally at. Is there an fix for this instead of manually cropping frame by frame as that would take forever and also not perfectly aligned?

You could always render out the segment which you applied the crop to and try applying the effect to the cropped output file.

nest the clip, crop the clip inside the nested comp, apply the basic 3d on the nested comp.
