sorry if i ask the same question that was in that post but it is easier to ask then look forever in that guide. (If only it was more organized and easy to navigate)

nah, those posts go over changing a clip's transparency (opacity) and how to make keyframes respectively
if vegas works similarly to premiere pro then you'll only need 2 keyframes (for the transparency) for each clip you use that effect on

pretty much for the transparency you just gotta drag the fade over but yea two key frames on the panning should do it
