i have some programs that only work on windows XP and lower OS's, they dont work on vista but i know there is a way to open them on vista by doing something with their properties, can anyone help me with exactly what to do or give me a link to directions? thanks

Try right clicking and running as an administrator.

should be a way to switch Vista's compatibility mode to XP, though I don't know exactly how you'd go about it. Also the compatibility mode pretty much sucks, as I set it to XP one time and couldn't get APP2.0 to work at all.
