[redacted]

type of file: VLC media file (.avi)

audio: MPEG layer-3

video compression: XVID

Now, since I'm a total and complete noob, can I use these files in ANY video editing software properly, or am I just better off deleting them, and if so, can someone give me tips on where to get the right files or where to convert these files (please use easy words for my simple mind!!) Any help would be greatly apperciated!!!!

I think this might be in the wrong section to start.

Odds are no because it's a Xvid video and you'll likely get a black video when imported.

Second, for a better source... why not delete the clip and get the DVDs? Make life a hell of a lot easier.

Bleach is already on DVD you can find the "first season" boxed set at Walmart for like $30 so there is almost no reason to be using downloaded footage.

You can [redacted], but I strongly discourage using downloaded footage :? buy dvd's and learn how to rip them to your computer with VLC or etc.
