MAGIX help

Postby Dvl-Jigen » Sun Jul 06, 2008 8:07 pm

ok, I've started using Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 and a can't seem to find how to make a clip play in reverse, I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it in Magix, but if there isn't can someone suggest a way to do it.
Thanks

If it's the same as MEP 10, right click your clip>>Video Effects...>>under Play Speed, click the minus/backwards symbol. Also, I think the size of your sig is against the forum rules.

ok, I tried what you suggested, and it didn't work T_T I may just end up loading the clip into vegas and reverse it that way.

Also I fixed my sig, sorry for it being so big before.

yeah, Magix can't reverse a clip if there is audio attached to it [at least in v10]

select your clip and detach/ungroup the audio:

right-click just the video track, and select "Video effects":

under "Play Speed" click the minus/backwards button:

I wouldn't have audio attached to my source-footage to begin with, since it's not [usually]
needed for amvs, and it takes up a lot of extra space in your Magix temporary audio folder.

hope this helps :)

and I just noticed that this thread should be in Other Video Editing Systems,
so a Mod might move it.

I just go into my program settings and there's an option not to even load audio from video clips to begin with. Saves me some time.

.. "Shift + Y" should call Video Effects in any Magix & AiST Software. ^___^

Shift + Y disconnects the Audio "by default." 8-) 8-) :P
