figures, as soon as I finish my collab and need to make all the ARs uniform, vdub randomly dies on me. I'm on vista and whenever i try to open it is says "A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly."
I've tried running it in compatibility mode and it says "an out of bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'AcLayers'.
I've both re-installed it and re-downloaded it and re-installed it.
So ...anyone know how resurrect it?

Did the same thing to me.

1. Control Panel
2. System and Maintenance
3. System
4. Advanced Options (Screen Pops Up)
5. Under "Advanced", go to "Performance" and hit "Settings"
6. Go to Data Execution Prevention.
7. Click "Turn On DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
8. Find Virtual Dub, and add it to the list.
