Size of video

I was just wondering why is my amv that i made from vegas so big(8GB) while the one i made in wmm it was like 700MB?Also because of that its so long to upload on a site.Can some tell wats going or is it all vegas videos this big?Thx in advance.

Neither of them is compressed in a significant way. The WMM export is almost certainly DV, while your Vegas export is either uncompressed or a lossless like HuffYUV. What you need to do is compress.
