MAGIX Movie Edit 11

Postby XiaoMovieMaker » Sat Dec 15, 2007 2:37 pm

Is there a screen capture function?
I want to take a picture of a certain scene in a clip, and extend it out.

Kinda like, having something freeze for a few seconds...

Thanks again~

you can make a few cuts to isolate the frame you want to hold, then either slow down the clip (making it longer) or just copy the frame and keep pasting it until it's the desired length

both will work, but the second one will make it harder to apply and effects/transitions

.. it doesn't matter if its Movie Maker 2004 or Movie Edit Pro 12; they all work the same way.
1) goto the bottom of the screen and set the ZOOM size of the LINE your working on to less than 50 frames being displayed on that line.
2) on the upper TIME track, left click before the frame you want to save .. then left click ( again ) on the frame after that frame you want to save.
.. the Manuals no longer explain this because its "common knowledge" to anyone who use's AiST/Magix programs ... 3) left click on the FRAME you want to save: File, Export Moive, Single Frame as ... 8-)

.. not in Magix, import as many Pictures as you want then Group them as if they were a Movie; lock that movie and add your effects ^_^

I normally take my movie clip into Virturaldubmod and get a still image from that as it allows me to export it as a png file (much smaller than the bmp that Magix MEP outputs).

...

... I almost feel like I'm giving away a secret here, but when I edit, I just bastardize the object timestretch feature... for everything...
