use the crop feature:

its described in the subtitle removal guide here:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=77203

you can use the same method to crop off "black bars"

but when you upload a widescreen video to the tube... they will put black bars on it themselves...

im sorry but thats what you asked...

if you want to sharpen the image at the same time you can use Avisynth with it..

let me ask if youre familiar with AviSynth before i continue though... (just so i know how to help you)

But anyway, the sub removal guide is here:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... efault.htm

For future reference, there's a big ol' link on the main page that says "Guides"...
