use the crop feature:
its described in the subtitle removal guide here:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=77203
you can use the same method to crop off "black bars"
but when you upload a widescreen video to the tube... they will put black bars on it themselves...

But anyway, the sub removal guide is here:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... efault.htm
For future reference, there's a big ol' link on the main page that says "Guides"...
