premiere pro CS6 VS sont vegas pro 12

So, I wanna start working on my first AMV, I already have music, anime, and a general idea. and I looked in a few tutorials.
But which program I should use? premiere? vegas? something else?

I prefer Sony Vegas.
However, both programs offer free trials I believe.
Use both programs and discover which one you prefer better.

What Elcalavero said. Try both out. I myself prefer Premiere.

Premiere is arguably the more powerful tool, but I believe it costs more than Vegas assuming they still sell CS6 at all. Adobe Premiere Creative Cloud is something to look at as well.

Premiere by itself isn't as good as Vegas, however if you plan to get after effects too then it is the better option.
