Blender

Post by Quu » Tue Aug 17, 2010 2:47 pm

blender has a video sequencer as part of its package, has anybody experimented with it, or made videos with it? It came up in some of my conversations with people about a free video editor.

It seems sorta usable. But "not quite there", as far as what most people would expect.

ok, I guess that makes sense. I just did not see any discussion about it, and being free, I figured someone would have tried it.
(and, it can read mpeg-2 and mpeg-4 files native, since it uses ffmpeg for importing)

I know he used it for the 3d and effects, but I am not sure what he used for sequencing
