Re: Avisynth Script Importer for Adobe CS5
Crap, I have 50+ avs scripts in a project and about 15 of them are either not loading, show a green screen blotch, or are considered offline.
When I close and reload the project, some of them work again, but others start having problems. It's completely random every time I load my project.
I can't have this happening. I've already upgraded to 5.0.2 and all of my avs scripts load fine in vdub64

This is a problem with the 64bit implementation (more like hack) of avisynth. the only way i've been able to get around it is to reload the project until all the files load or are at least considered "offline" in which case you can relink the files without any problems. If you try to relink a file that has an avisynth error (when it worked before), it will mess up the timeline for those clips.

Yeah, this sucks.Pwolf wrote:This is a problem with the 64bit implementation (more like hack) of avisynth. the only way i've been able to get around it is to reload the project until all the files load or are at least considered "offline" in which case you can relink the files without any problems. I probably have to make different project files and load less avs scripts. It's inconvenient, but it's my only option if this will keep happening.
I really liked having just one project file and having multiple sequences.

Re: Avisynth Script Importer for Adobe CS5
The issue happens no matter how many scripts you have imported. It's a little extra work when you first open the project but if you organize your files correctly, it shouldn't take more then a minute or two to get everything up and working correctly.
If you haven't already done so, try updating your version of avisynth x64 to the latest version also. The latest version was released August 29th. I haven't had a chance to test it yet though.

Re: Avisynth Script Importer for Adobe CS5
I just installed the newest avisynth and it's helping a little. A whole bunch of my scripts are still randomly not showing.

Re: Avisynth Script Importer for Adobe CS5
I made some modifications to the plugin to help fix the issue of scripts not opening properly or generating errors on otherwise good scripts. It's more or less a hack then a real "fix" as the problem is with avisynth. For those that care, I check for an error during the initial loading of the clip, if it errors out, I have it try loading it again. Then when it loads avisynth, i do the same thing if an avisynth error is thrown. It shouldn't cause any abnormal problems but it might increase the overall memory usage. It needs to be tested more thoroughly so i'm releasing this as an "alpha" and without an installer:
Premiere CS AVS Importer x64 1.1a
Let me know of any issues that come up. I'll do my own testing and release a stable version in the future.
