Other Files to WMM

Hi... um.... I'm trying to save my videos as a mpg and other types of files. But the problem is that it only has this [b]MSWMM[/b] type file. How do I get mpg, avi, and other movie file types to WMM?

you use the "save movie file" option in the "File' drop down menu.

but for straight conversions it may be better to use windows media encoder - it offers more options

MPG encoding is a bit more involved. Well, not really. A bit more than encoding XviD in AVI using VirtualDubMod, but not much. You will need a MPEG-1/2 encoder like TMPGEnc. And don't forget to compress your audio!
