Short timeline

Post by Val3ntia » Sat Nov 11, 2006 2:32 pm

I know the easy answer for this question is probably, "don't use WMM," but that's not really an option for me right now, so please help me. (:

When I start a new project, the clips on the timeline are nice and fat, and it's very easy to cut and place clips in the right place and time. So I make some progress, save the project, and close down. Now, if I want to go reopen that project to edit, the timeline has shrunk so that, instead needing a scrollbar to view the whole project, the whole thing is crammed into a space of about 6 inches. The timeline itself is the same, but everything inside of it is about ten times shorter in appearance. It also seems to make it harder for WMM to play it.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to change this? Or am I just going to have to deal with completing my AMV in one go?

Thank you very much, and please humor me. I'm completely new to this, but I'm trying.

Wow. o.o Boy do I feel stupid.

Thank you so much for not saying that in a condescending way. xD

But really, thanks. :P

Whenver it does that to me, it's because it shrinks to fit in everything. If you have a 80 minute movie of course it'll shrink, but if its only 15 seconds it'll be big.

That's what I always thought, but yeah, there is a zoom button anyway. Use that.
