How do I reduce the volume of the audio?

Post by pavankat » Sat Jun 13, 2009 8:03 pm

I have a video and an audio file. I want the video file's audio to be dominant and the audio to be lower than the video.

How would I go about and do this?

It'd help to know if you're trying to do this in AE or Premiere or whatever else, but with any program, what you need to do is lowering the dB of the audio file or alternatively increasing the video's audio. Or you could do both, just see what works better in your case.

Sorry about that. I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro v7.0. How would I go about decreasing the audio's db?

Nevermind. Sorry. You just go to clip and then audio options. Thanks for your help.
