AE Problem

Postby Faltzer » Thu May 29, 2008 11:50 am

I've been having problems with my PC and I want to know if anyone else has experienced this. Whenever I install After Effects my PC becomes messed up. When I open my Storage partition on my HDD it takes about 5~6 seconds to show me the contents of the partition, this ALWAYS happens when I install After Effects, even if I uninstall it afterwards the problem still remains. I have to format to remove the problem, and it will re-appear again if I re-install AE.

Any ideas what causes the problem?? Has anyone else experienced this before or knows what the problem might be?

Nope, nothing to do with HDD space. Another thing is that Photoshop and Premiere stop working and also give problems once you've installed AE. A friend of mine also gets this problem though, really weird...

Talk to adobe - if it's a big problem, they should have some sort of fix for it somewhere.

I just found out that it's a Vista x64 problem :? It works perfectly fine with x86 but I don't like 32-bit :(
