Bad Rendering Premiere Pro 2

Postby blaku92 » Tue Mar 20, 2007 3:30 am

I am trying to edit with a huffyuv encoded avi in Premiere Pro 2 and I'm also trying to export the final project into a huffyuv encoded avi, but the exported video causes all my players (including Media Player Classic) to crash. Some of the exported video has strange color glitches and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Does Premiere not like huffyuv or somethin? Please help.

Try exporting Uncompressed. People have had problems with Huffyuv exports from Premiere before. Then use VirtualDub/Mod to compress the video with Huffyuv if you need it in that format. Or you can make your final XviD/H.264//MPEG2/WMV distro copy directly from the Uncompressed video file.

- Make sure you set the Recompress option to "Always"
- Make sure the "Always suggest RGB mode for output" box is enabled in the HuffYUV options

Well, Premiere Pro loses some cool points because Huffyuv exports dont work! Looks like I'm gunna have to export an uncompressed file >.< That upsets me greatly. If anyone has any more ideas let me know. Thanks for the suggestions!

It does the same thing with Lagarith. I've messed around with it for a while now and it doesn't want to work. Uncompressed exports look fine though.
