Hi, noob here (like most =) I'm trying to learn how to do audio/video synching..
I've been learning on Adobe After Effects, and I've learned how to do some neat stuff in it.. but I just can't figure out how to do any kind of realistic synching..
My main problem is that there does not seem to be a way to step over the audio in real-time frame by frame (video frames).
So I can only work with the waveform and audio preview... but when I do that, most of my effects are out of synch a little bit..
When I use Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 I can step over the audio frame by frame in real time, hear each beat, and my synch comes out much cleaner.. But I dislike premiere.
I'm currently waiting for my Total Training for Premiere 2.0 to arrive, so maybe it will answer some questions and make premiere easier for me to use.. But at the moment I prefer after effects.
