help me! ^^
i have forgott a lot of thing about adobe premiere

i want to know what i have to do to get my premiere to show preview at my amv. when i play it it will be black in the previewwindow. it has never happend before. and i have set the videosettings to divx codec just like i did in the virtual dub.

excuse me for my bad english, i'm swedish :P

Just incase ^ was a lil to abrupt for ya.


all editing software really chokes to death on anything that has been highly compressed like divx or xvid.

So you need to avoid editing in those..

Take the divx files you are trying to use and convert them to huffy uv or largarith...

Then you can import and edit them in premire

Keep in mind the file sizes will be huge.. upwards of 1gb per minute (i think)


The amv app has all the necessary codecs and vdub, It is available from a sticky on this site.
