Sound pops on export?
Ok i got another problem for yall..
Well as you may already know im editing with uncompressed audio from a cd source.. so conditions for that are perfect..
In premire the sound is good.
when i render small portions of the timeline in premire it sounds good..
but for some reason when i export what i have in my video so far onto a huffy uv file and play it on a player.. i get a strange crackling sound in the audio every now and again..
I have re ripped the original source so i think it may be a setting or somthing.. but im not sure..
any ideas?

Close calls are always the most exciting. Coming close is always the most dissapointing.

i added a constant gain effect at the beginning of my audio track.. would that cause it?

i have about a half second to a full second of gain... just enough to keep up with a fade in of the first clip..
I also cut off some of the start of the audio aswell.. because it has like a half second of silence before the song starts.

i've had the problem of random clicks and the easiest fix for me, when doing the final export, was to never export the video and audio at the same time. I do them seperately. Then I just rejoin them again in vdubMod. So yeah just test by exporting the audio seperately and see if there is still a poblem.

I know the answer! Maybe.
Check you Export settings. In there is Audio settings. Make sure it's interleaving the sound every frame, rather than every second. Premiere defaults to every second, which is crappy and leads to popping.

slightly off topic, you may want to consult editors off of the forum before making new topics, or spend some more time trying to work them out yourself. i'm seeing alot of topics from you
