premiere "conforms" audio far as I know there is no way around it. (perhaps something to help with smooth previewing, or making the code easier to write) I just delete the conformed files after I finish the amv.

there is, however, an option to add to project after export.
it should be a checkbox...and disabling it doesn't hurt anything, it just makes sure that premiere doesn't waste your time by conforming additional audio

The solution is to disable/remove audio from your files before you import them.
