If it was already unchecked, then its probably that the clips properties are still based on one clip. Maybe you arent selecting them all or something. After selecting all of them, and when you go to the clip menu and go the field options, if it is still unchecked, then check it. Then deselect. Then reselect and then try it.

Used [ctrl]+A to select and then checked and unchecked the box but it's still the same result. Do you think it could be something with the fact it's an educational version?

"Then checked and unchecked the box" Did you check it and press ok, then deselect and reselected everything and unchecked it?

As for the educational version, i have no idea. Is the educational version the kind you buy through your school?

It was the only Premiere 6.5 I could find on E-bay.

As for the reselect and deselect ect... It worked. Thanks a ton. I only wish they made stuff like this more noticeable. I went through the help files all day trying to see if you could do it in one fell swoop.

It probably wasn't working because, one clip was unchecked so it screwed everything up. You had to make that clip the same as all the others in order to make it work.

And the people at Adobe weren't smart enough to use the grey checkmark to indicate that some clips had it checked and others didn't?

That is called FAILING. Enjoy your trip.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

To be more precise, There is not much difference between the two programs when it comes to the basics. Most of the advanced stuff you can do in Premiere Pro is not ultimately necessary to AMVs when you first start out. As the guide is titles, its a NOOBs Guide meaning it's intened to help ease nOObs into the program and get them rolling, not give them everything about the product. That would take AGES... believe me.
