After Effects Rendering problem

Postby liucke » Fri Nov 23, 2012 4:26 pm

So when I've tried to render, masks and other objects were delayed by 1 frame though in preview it was everything ok. And it's strange because it never happened before. Fps in preview and in render settings are the same.

So what it could be? I never messed up with render settings, I just choose codec which I need and then render...

Heh well source fps 23.976 and AE doing the 23.98 thing. But it always was like this and never caused me any trouble. It's strange because I did masking before and it was alright >.>
Format - avi, codec Ut video, actually the same as the source.

I've heard of the issue before, just can't remember how to fix it.

x2 - I think it was an indexing mismatch error, where AE was starting at frame 0 and Premiere was starting at Frame 1 (or vice-versa). I think if you went into the offending timeline and adjusted the start frame, it fixes itself. I remember i played around with it and got it to fix itself after lots of swearing. I also remember it happened if you tried to apply time correction to a clip in Premiere, then changed that clip into a linked AE comp. You need to make it an AE comp first, then time adjust it.

The last time it happened to me, I had to go into the AE portion and drag the in point until it was properly aligned with the start of the comp. Check to see if you have footage in a comp that isn't properly aligned, then do a RAM preview.

Heh it worked when I moved all keyframes by one frame, though in preview it looked bad but in rendered video it was ok. Thanks :}
