Loading a Movie, only 40s

Post by Kawatta-kun » Mon Aug 29, 2011 6:35 am

I converted into UTVideo a movie with 2h. When i load it at Premiere OR AfterEffects, it only does 40 seconds and 13frames.
At Sony Vegas it's fine, but that's not the program i want to work on.

If someone knows what's happening, thanks!

Check the frame rate. I know AECS5, for example, does stuff like that for 23.976 fps files. 23.98 or 24fps files work fine though.

It's ok, i've checked. The file is 23.976 and at properties it's the same. Checed other windows (dunno if all), framerate IS ok. What is not of is the lenght of the video.
It shouldn't make it Dx i don't want to convert for something that gives ghosty frames, or 23,98 on VirtualDub (when converting) is fine?

Ok, converted now for 23.98. The audio is just late. Don't know about goshty frames cause, well, nothin much happen x) but SOMETHING did.

This might be my only option? If so (and cause i intend to use audio later), saving .wav file separately?

And now for AE, it doesn't even load well, some error regarding denominators.

Sorry for double posting, can't edit.

It's ok now, i've figured it out.

At virtualdub I left there 23,976fps, but the processing is 23,9800, not it runs fine, no ghosty frames and synqued audio.

Anything else i'll pop in here. Thanks!
