Just so you know you can apply filters at certain parts of your amv if you want to do some post processing.
For the parts that you want to blurr slightly or try to fix grain etc without bothering other parts of the video... You can use Animate/Applyrange
http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/ApplyRangeOne of the examples listed there is: ApplyRange(100,149,"Blur", 1.0)
The filter Blur is applied from frame 100 to 149 with 1.0 as the strength. No other frames are effected. You can do this with any filter as long as the resolution and framerate are not changed. Just make sure if your using something like a temporal smoother you give it a frame or two before and after the area your trying to fix to work with.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
