Virtual Dub Mod crashes when I load an Avisynth?

Postby Jessie-kun » Tue Dec 08, 2009 12:43 am

I used DGIndex to demuxe a video, and whenever I load the avisynth file that was created into Virtual Dub Mod, it crashes completely. Can I edit the avisynth file in any way to fix it? What should I do?

Sorry if what I'm saying doesn't sound right or is hard to make sense of. I'm very new to these programs, and don't know much about them... :|

Also make sure that your AVISynth plugins directory does not contain Warpsharp.dll, LoadPluginEx.dll, or LoadPluginEx2.dll. They are known to break autoloading.

mpeg2source("C:\Documents and Settings\Jessie\My Documents\AIR episode 1.d2v",cpu=6)

That's the script.

That's the script.

That looks good, next thing is to check what Scintilla said.
Avisynth's plugins folder should be in C:\Program Files\Avisynth2_5\

Try to change cpu=6 to cpu=0... 6 is too high anyway.

Will the script open in anything else? Can you play it in, say, Windows Media Player?

No, it won't play in Windows Media Player.

Do you get a specific error message, or does it just crash?

" Oops -- VirtualDub has crashed. Details are listed below which may help you pinpoint the o. It a third party driver is implicated, try using another driver and see if the problem goes away. For reproducible problems in VirtualDub itself, use "Save..." and email the problem report to <phaeron@virtualdub.org> along with a description of what you were doing.

Crash details (best guess as to cause)

An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'VirtualDub'...
...writing address oACFA000. "

That's the message I get.
