AviSynth Open Failure

Post by Epical Zamora » Thu Jan 24, 2008 7:17 pm

Damn, my second stupid question today. I hope I don't keep this up...

The formatting of my computer has run me into a whole slew of problems. The newest is that I can't seem to open an AVS in Vdub. I've installed AMVApp 3 and Vdub, but nothing works, even a script so simple as AVISource. Any ideas?

Bad install perhaps? Try reinstalling.

You know, I've been told by 2 other editor friends that they were also having problems with the new amvapp... I'm guessing there's an issue with a semi-common program or codec conflicting with it.

Epical Zamora, since you just formatted, what did you install prior to the amvapp? Any codecs? any programs?

Does Version() work?

And do you get an error with Avisource or just nothing happens?

All I had installed was Premier. Reinstall worked though.

That was anticlimactic. =\
