this site isn't fond of youboob so theres a word filter on it, and they have disabled people posting the links in the forum... the thing is we get a lot of people from there that disrespect this site by only linking to their youtube videos and they sometimes even refuse to list them here. the sole purpose of animemusicvideos.org is to list every amv ever made, so it's kinda disrespectful to come her to advertise your videos and NOT list them eh?
as for your original question:
most people here are looking for quality and probably won't complain about the file size unless its massive or over 100mb (which you can't upload anyways without permission) also, a lot of people here don't like the .wmv container, so I would probably stay away from that...
what program are you using to edit your videos? and do you still have the project files or a full quality export? so you can make a full quality export? (as mpg tends to be lower quality than say a lossless copy - though if thats all you have to work with I suppose its fine?)
xvid encoded avi or h.264 encoded mp4 are the standard here, (or at least thats what i see most of top editors here useing- one or the other or both)
this is a link to the new guides I hope it helps
one more specific to h.264/mp4
and
one on how to compress to xvid which should be used with
the one for compressing your audio
I'm sure you can easily take those mpg exports and use those methods to convert to the other containers/compressions. Also if you get handy with the avisynth you could even clean up the quality that was lost a little bit.
