VirtualDubMod glitch: Auto restarting upon abort or finish

Postby Scaledkittah » Sat Jul 28, 2007 7:39 pm

Hello All, admitted newbie when it comes to using the AMVapp, been flipping through the guides but have come across an odd glitch in VirtualDubMod that's confusing me.

I selected a small clip from the FMA episode I ripped using the mark in / mark out buttons (bout 2000 frames to see if deinterlacing was working smoothly in media player) It's near the end of the episode. Hit F7 to save it. Picked the usual settings of fast recompress and lagarith codec.

But when the clip finished saving VDM restarted the dubbing process and started making a copy of the clip. I hit abort and it just restarted again. The only way i could stop it was closing things down using task manager and crashing the program.

It only seemed to happen with that certain spot I was using though. I tried selecting a small clip from the start that was the same size, every setting was the same but that including my avisynth script, and it ended normally after just one save.

Any idea what could cause this?
