Trying to use DGIndex on a Negima Rip

Post by RHOPKINS13 » Tue Jun 12, 2007 9:41 am

Hi, I'm a newb at the whole amv creation process, and I've run into a little problem with DGIndex. I'm using DGIndex 1.4.9 Beta 17 on a rip of my Negima Magic 101: The Basics of Magic DVD. When I preview the VOB files in DGIndex, it seems to skip back and forth in the frames. I first noticed this with the credits repeating, and then saw it in other parts of the video as well. Sure enough, if I go ahead and try to index it anyway the same problems appear when loading it in VirtualDubMod via AviSynth. I know that it's a good rip, because it plays fine when I open it with VLC or Nero Showtime. Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my DGIndex? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

when you ripped with dvd decryptor did you use IFO mode?

if not delete the vobs you have now and re-rip it in IFO mode and choose a camera angle...

ALL of the negima dvds should be like that... Funimation likes their camera angles it seems
