De interlace with dgiindex

De interlace with dgiindex

Is it posssible to de-interlace footage with Dgiindex or otherwise? If so, how :?:

as far as I know, DGIndex cannot de-interlace.
In my opinion, the best way to go about that is by using avisynth

It is not possible. DGIndex does exactly what it says it does: It indexes the vob files for easy tracking with the AVS file it makes. You must add IVTC to your AVS file, or choose to use some other means of deinterlacing, such as the deinterlacing filter in VirtualDub/VirtualDubMod. On particularly difficult footage that has been telecined badly, you may need to do both.
