Vdubmod wont play .ogm

Vdubmod wont play .ogm

every so often my computer goes "F U dude..."

Yesterday it did it so neither Lame MP3 or besweet would wokr on my computer.

now they do....but NOW my vdub wont play .ogm. not even if i run it through avisynth.

it said im missing xvidcore.dll, i downloaded the file of the same name....and i put it in my vdub file.....nothin.

any idea? cause im out and id really like to use .ogms....

Unless you really want to know why it's happening, for situations like this, you usually end up doing the "uninstall, then reinstall" thing. Probably start with codecs. [I usually just have ffdshow and haali do everything codec-wise... and VLC for playback]. You could use CCCP, but be warned that you can't have anything else on your computer that might interfere with it.

actually, you can.
CCCP comes with the option of disabling almost anything that it does, so if you already have something to decode .mkv for instance, you can disable .mkv splitting and decoding.

yeah, if you just want lame/xvid to work again you should just re-install the codecs (newest versions)

that's good to know :) although with the way my computer is now, I try to stay away from codec packs for the possibility of interfering aps; so I don't have to figure out which parts to disable. However, one of these days I'm gonna clear my computer so it has nothing installed on it, then I think CCCP would be the way to go.

Did the uninstall thingy. it worked...thanks...but now i have a new problem LOL
