Ripping a dvd in really good quality???

Ripping a dvd in really good quality???

i rip using magic dvd riper... its the best dvd riper iv been able to find but it doesn't rip to the BEST quality so i was wondering how ppl rip dvds to get super good quality cuz i want to make my amvs in really good quality. plz help T_T

I used this AMVapp it's all package inside and it's all free or you can check it for your references xD

Actually with Magic DVD Ripper you can rip it to "Original MPEG-2" then make an AVIsynth script for it to import it...thats what I did for a while, but thats using Premiere. Not really sure what editing software you're using there.

I use magic before but it gives me hard time to open in sony vegas so I changed to AMVapp for the easiest :)
