I just recently picked up a iRiver Clix 2 and am enjoying my favorite series on it. But when I try to convert my .mkv files I lose the subs in conversion. Is there a program that will allow me to take the .mkv and turn it into an .avi with a hard sub. I'm using the converter the Clix came with. All I have to do is get it into a format with subs and the Clix converter can do the rest. Any Ideas?

You might be able to use VirtualDubMod and AviSynth (with the proper filters installed).
