Full Metal Alchemist DVD rip issue

Postby SpYdEr_Dan » Sun Apr 22, 2007 12:40 pm

Hello 'org.

I was going about ripping my DVD's of Full Metal Alchemist when I noticed something. While watching the show, I noticed that during the beginning of the episode up till the end of the opening, there are two video layers. One in which has the English logo and English credits, and another which has the Japanese logo and Japaneses credits.

When it comes to checking my .vob that I get upon ripping, the file plays both the video tracks and audio tracks at the same time. Is there any way to go about choosing one layer?

Please advise.

Your ripping program should allow you to choose just one angle or the other, IF you rip each episode individually in IFO mode.

Ahh, I was unaware I could do that. I now have something new to toy around with.

I thank you.

DVD Decrypter

I'm now experimenting with selecting which angles and chapters to rip and all that. Trial and error at it's best!

Well, i found IFO mode, only thing I'm running into is that if i select Cell1 in one angle, it comes up on the other angle also selected. Then when I unselect it, it comes back by itself.

Trial and error...trial and error...ugh, this is going to drive me to drink excessive amounts of coffee.
