problem with encoding

Postby qyll » Sat Mar 03, 2007 11:26 pm

I export an uncompressed RGB from premiere pro 2.0, and everything is fine and dandy.

I can successfully encode the uncompressed file into an xvid, but when I try to play it in media player classic, it crashes.

I encoded the uncompressed into lagarith and that plays fine in MPC, and when I try to play an xvid file that I encoded from the lagarith file, MPC crashes again.

Using .avs doesn't work either.

And lastly (which is making me rather irritated), I opened up a new project and made a 10 second video that I exported as uncompressed and encoded as xvid and MPC can play that without a problem!

Anyone?

What program are you using to encode to XviD?

oh never mind...I got it to work.

I had to export the video into 3 parts and then put the uncompressed back in to premiere...

apparently something was wrong with the video itself... something to do with the audio. I'm not sure.
