No, that's a bad move. You always want to have the maximum amount of control over your settings, and Premiere won't give it to you, not to mention the frequent risks of crashing.

Output to HuffYUV and then do the XviD in VDub. You'll be glad you did.

Primiere pro, anyway new problem, it says compiling error, unknown error! Now what do I do? Cheers.

How do I select YUV in pro, its the default for uncompressed right?

no, the default for uncompressed is "No compression"

make sure that your export settings are exactly the same as your project settings (the only exception should be the compression codec)
try exporting uncompressed RGB (AFAIK, the pro line works with video in rgb colorspace...this may have changed with pro 2.0 ...but either way pro's exporting sucks and should be done uncompressed)

no idea about the compiler error...my guess is that it's the codec you are using/trying to use, but it's only a guess.

What is the is the least amount of compression but still with some compression, not uncompressed but as good as?

I mean if I put this to dvd I only get dvd quality, so uncopressed though obviously has much more info, how can I use that?

you export uncompressed then compress to what you need, it prevents all sorts of random premiere errors that pop up all the time.

Also, this isn't a chat room, you shouldn't be posting every 5 minutes if there isn't a reply to your last 2 posts...
