Encoding to MPEG-2 in TMPGEnc

Postby MajinZero » Wed Feb 14, 2007 10:17 pm

I'm on my last step in the matters of compression, particularly for submission to a convention. Hence, I've been trying to follow Scintilla's Encoding Your AMV to MPEG for Convention Submission MPEG-2. Unfortunately, after encoding, the first second of the video portion of my amv is played frozen at a single frame (with audio running perfectly), but then proceeds to correct itself after about a second later. What can I do to correct this?

It might be a bitrate problem. Try lowering the max bitrate or quality a bit and see if that helps. Then try lowering it alot and see if that helps. If it still doesnt help then I guess its some other problem.

Seems it worked, though I had to basically copy the settings in the Otakuvideogeneral template as a new project. Thanks for the help.
