Watermark

Postby alnaught » Sat Jan 27, 2007 7:34 pm

When ripping from my dvd's i was given a choice of formats to put it into.
I tried .WMV but it was poor quality, so i tried the other one.
The quality was much better, but the majority of the clips were left with a small watermark it the bottem corner that I have already been criticised for.
Is there any way to prevent or remove this during the ripping stages?

Thanks

is the watermark on the dvd footage, or placed there by the ripping program/codec you encoded the dvd files with?

at any rate, I suggest that you Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides

It was not on the DvD
I read the guide, but could find nothing relating to watermarks.
But I've seen this watermark in other peoples work too

can you post a screenshot?
if you follow the method outlined in the guide you shouldn't get any watermarks

saw one of your amvs - the water mark is the divx logo

to get rid of it - heres a fix
http://www.tech-recipes.com/windows_tips972.html

if its not in program files you may have a codec pack and the configuration utility may be in its folder.

Thankyou both of you.
I found the checkbox, so now the problem should be gone
Thanks again
