OSX -Mpeg Stremclip Converting .VOB to .MOV

When I convert my files, they seem "squished" like it's making 16x9 to fit in a 4x3. I'm trying to export 720x480. Is there a setting I need to change or different codec I should be using?

You should definitely check the setting of the codec. If the codec does not give you the options then try some other codec.

Try TmpGenc Xpress or Ulead Video Studio for much nicer options and better compression. 30 Gigs too much.

Is this footage you are using 16:9? There should be something in MPEGStreamClip that you can set it to 16:9.
But you should check out this guide.

Well M.H.A.Q.S., Dynamics can not use those because they are on a Mac.

Are you converting to square pixels? In other words, do you want your video to look unsquished on a COMPUTER monitor? If yes, you need to convert to square pixels.

Most 16:9 sources come out 853x480 square.
