VDub don't like MP4

one thing the Vdub is not accepting the mp4, why?

is there anything I need to know?

Write an avs script like that and open that script

DirectShowSource("xyz.mp4")

(where xyz is ofc the name of a file)

This is the part that I don't get "where xyz is ofc the name of a file".

I try in Np (notepad) and it doesn't work. so anyone, there?

Well your file have some name, and since I cannot know how did you named your file i gave you a script, with "xyz" being a place where you write down name of your file....

Try not calling people 'kiddo'. -.- Have you taken a look at both CrackTheSky and Minion's profiles? They actually HAVE videos. You don't. If they say mp4 is not supported, then don't quesiont them by saying 'have you ever even tried it in your life'? They would definately know, by how many videos they actually have. AVIsynth is something totally different.
VDM does NOT support Mp4, take the answer and deal with it. Comprende?
