i ripped a dvd and i got 7.2Gb of VOB files and my question is how do i get it into a movie file (eg avi etc...) and burn it on a cd for backup, cuz my pc has like a major virus in there, to make amv after i get rid of the virus so can anyone help me?

same way as I suggested in your other thread.
VirtualDubMod can also handle mpeg-2 streams (.vob is a type of mpeg-2 stream)

but instead of backing these up while you have the virus, I suggest that you get a free antivirus program like avast! antivirus to get rid of it (then you don't have to put those .vobs back onto a cd or dvd)

ok if that is your problem I found some anti virus in Google
It happen that to me but I install my anti-virus form my back up CD then I still continue my AMV
